If you've landed on my blog, you've probably read a few of my guides on probate, first homes or life in the Brazos Valley. I'd like to tell you a little about the person behind them, how I work and who I'm best at helping.

From 25 years in IT to real estate

Before real estate, I spent 25 years in IT management in both the private and public sector. That work taught me to break big, stressful projects into clear steps, keep everyone informed and never guess when the facts can be checked.

I became a Texas REALTOR® in 2020, and I brought that same step-by-step discipline with me. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest projects most people ever take on. It goes better when someone hands you a plan, explains each step before you get there and tells you the truth along the way.

Training that works for my clients

I've earned designations that line up with the clients I help most:

  • ABR® (Accredited Buyer's Representative): advanced training in representing buyers, from search through negotiation and closing.
  • SRS (Seller Representative Specialist): advanced training in representing sellers, from pricing and marketing to negotiating offers.
  • CPE (Certified Probate Expert): specialized training in selling inherited and probate homes alongside the family's attorney and title company.
  • MRP (Military Relocation Professional): training in helping military families buy, sell or lease around PCS orders and VA loans.
  • SFR (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource): training in helping homeowners facing financial hardship understand their options.
  • GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute): in-depth coursework in contracts, law, finance and real estate practice.
  • C2EX (Commitment to Excellence): a REALTOR® program centered on professionalism and putting clients first.

Southern Luxe Group and eXp Realty

I lead Southern Luxe Group with eXp Realty. We serve the Greater Austin Area to Bryan College Station. Most of my clients buy or sell in Austin, Round Rock, Hutto, Georgetown and Bryan–College Station, and I also help military households around Killeen and Fort Hood.

New to the area? Start with my guide to Round Rock neighborhoods or my local's guide to Bryan–College Station.

Who I help most

  • First-time buyers who want each step explained and a budget that holds up after closing.
  • Heirs and executors selling an inherited or probate home, often from out of town. I coordinate the property side while your attorney handles the legal side. My step-by-step guide to selling an inherited house in Texas is a good place to start.
  • Military households on PCS orders who need buying, selling or leasing timed to their move.
  • Parents of Texas A&M students weighing whether to buy near campus instead of renting.
  • Sellers and landlords who want a clear plan and honest pricing.

Getting "unsellable" homes sold

If I'm known for one thing, it's getting stuck properties to the closing table. One inherited home had already been passed over by other agents because nobody was sure who had the legal right to sell it. I worked through it with the family and their attorney, sorted out who could sign, and we got it closed.

That's the kind of problem I like: messy titles, out-of-state heirs, a house full of belongings or a home that has sat on the market too long. Every one of those has a next step, and my job is to find it.

What working with me looks like

My clients tell me I listen first. Before we look at a single listing or set a list price, I want to understand your timeline, your budget and what's worrying you. From there you'll get:

  • A written plan with each step in order, so you always know what's next
  • Pricing based on real comparable sales, not online estimates
  • Straight answers, including when I see a problem with a house or a plan
  • Patience. No question is too small, and you'll never feel rushed

Since 2020 I've helped dozens of buyers, sellers and families, and the comment I hear most is that I was there every step of the way. That means more to me than any award.
