Forest Creek, Round Rock, TX

Forest Creek is an established neighborhood on Round Rock's east side, built around the Forest Creek Golf Club. If you like mature trees, golf course views and homes with a little more character than brand-new construction, it's worth a look.

Forest Creek Golf Club

The neighborhood's centerpiece is Forest Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole public course owned by the City of Round Rock. It opened in 1990 and was renovated in 2018. Because it's a public course, there's no required membership to live here, and you can play or just enjoy the views.

The homes

Most homes in Forest Creek were built from the 1990s through the 2000s. You'll find mostly brick and stone exteriors, a range of one- and two-story floor plans, and many lots that back to the golf course or greenbelt. Earlier homes tend to have formal living and dining rooms, while newer ones lean toward open layouts.

Location and schools

Forest Creek is close to SH 130 and University Boulevard, so it's an easy drive to Dell, Round Rock Premium Outlets, Hutto and Taylor. The neighborhood is served by Round Rock ISD. As always, I confirm school assignments for each address.
