Lawmakers want to limit foreign nationals' purchase of Texas farmland

A controversial bill that would limit Texas land purchased by a select group of foreign nationals has passed the state Senate and is now being considered in the House. The bill has been tweaked so that citizens from four countries deemed threats by a federal agency — China, Iran, North Korea and Russia — could not purchase more than 20 total acres.
